North Dakota Major Home Improvement Program
Through the Major Home Improvement Program, North Dakota HFA provides affordable mortgage loans to low-to moderate-income North Dakota households to buy and rehabilitate a single-family home or to refinance and rehabilitate their present single-family home.
Am I Eligible?
If your intention is to be the first residents of the North Dakota home following the completion of the qualified improvements, you may be eligible.
1) You must meet income limits, which vary based on county and family size. Include projected income from all sources for the 12 months following the date of application.

3) You are expected to meet normal credit underwriting standards and must intend to occupy the property as your principal residence. You are also required to make a minimum of a $500 out-of-pocket cash investment.
